Festival Ironwood-July 17-20
July has arrived, and with it comes Festival Ironwood! These four days of fun, food, activities, and live music highlight both Ironwood's past as well as its present. On this website you will find registration forms for the Old Depot Car Show, the Arts & Crafts Fair, and the Walk, Run, & Roll Saturday morning race. Just go to http://www.ironwoodchamber.org/events/festival-ironwood for the full schedule! Scroll to the schedule's end and you will see the above forms to download and print out. This Monday the full Festival Ironwood Committee met here at the Depot to review the final organizational activites required to put this event on. You may not notice, but even though the Festival starts on Wednesday, July 17, set-up activites get started the previous week. Many, many community volunteers work to put on this stellar event! Tell you friends. Share our FB posts (especially the Festival Ironwood FB page). Above all, come on down to the Festival and experience the warmth of summer and good community fellowship.

It looks like the Hiawatha Restoration is still on track, though the time of the work is being moved to the first part of August rather than July. Again, here are the winners of the Restoration Raffle: 053 = Dan Bratu; 323 = Steve Sizemore, 008 = Tina Steiger, 399 = Linda Mattila, 088 = Kaye Longhini, 021 = Ron Jacobson.
Festival Ironwood 2019
If June is here, July is right around the corner and that means "Festival Ironwood Time!" Posted here on our website under events is a preliminary schedule for the July 17-20 event, though a few things will no doubt change as we get closer to the start date. The Festival Ironwood Organizing Committee is working very hard to make sure that this year's Festival will be a time of fun, great food, family activities, and a wide variety of events. If you have not done so, please "like" the Festival Ironwood Facebook page, for as we get closer to opening day, more and more items of interest will be posted there. Friday and Saturday will, of course, be the big days with Friday being "Kids Day" and Saturday featuring the Old Depot Car Show as well as the Arts and Crafts show. Both of these events have registration forms located at the end of the website schedule posting. The Arts and Crafts show will have room for up to 80 registrants this year, so sign up for your space now!

The all-new Ironwood Destination Guide has arrived from the printers! Big thank-yous to those Chamber members who purchased marketing spaces and helped enable the publication of this Guide! Layout and design were by Chamber member Sharp Graphic Design, with the Depot Office Guy here writing the text. Many new and outstanding pictures from local photographers are showcased! Those who remember the old guide will notice that the theme focus of the Destination Guide has changed from "just visiting" to "let's live there!" Our goal was to show that while Ironwood has a storied past, it also has a vibrant and attractive future. We have outstanding natural landscapes, that's for sure (which is a very powerful lure to folks who love the 4-season outdoors), but we also have a truly all-inclusive cultural and entreprenurial environment as well. Ironwood is the ideal place to live for both young and old alike! Looking for a place to start your own business? Ironwood is that place! Look over our new guide--and make Ironwood your destination!
