Ironwood Chamber of Commerce, Lake Gogebic Chamber of Commerce, Wakefield Chamber of Commerce, and Travel Ironwood have come together to form a U.P. Promotional Partnership to advertise the landscape and community of the Western U.P. via 5 Star’s Up North Action print/digital magazine (plus assorted digital media supplements). Our first foray will be in the May issue (available free for pick up at hundreds of area brochure racks and online at http://upnorthaction.com/ ). By working together this way and combining financial resources, the contributions of our members enable us to reach a vast audience of folks in Northern IL, Western MN, and WI for whom the U.P. is a land of landscape beauty, active recreation, and restorative peace. Each issue will feature a full-page color thematic ad as well as a page with brief activity/site vignettes that tell the story of “Yooper Land.” We are always looking for good pictures of sites or events, so if you have one you would like to share, send it along to chamber@ironwoodchamber.org
