The Ironwood Chamber of Commerce is presenting Ron Wirtz, Director of Outreach for the Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank in a noon-time event at the Aurora Club, 101 Penokee Road, Ironwood, on August 18, 2022. Ron will speak from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on “Recent Economic Trends in the Western Upper Peninsula.” You do not have to be a Chamber member to attend–this event is open to all. It is a great opportunity (and timely!) to learn more about all the changes that have occurred in our area during the 2019-2022 Covid-19 pandemic time frame, and how these changes look to affect our demographic and economic path forward.
