Snowriver Mountain Resort is changing the face of skiing and snowboarding in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula!  Snowriver (formerly Blackjack and Indianhead) has seen a revitalization this past year with over $10 million in capital improvements, including the installation of the https://www.snowriver.com/discover/snow-river/updates/voyageur-express Voyageur Express Six Pack Chairlift.  Located at the Jackson Creek Summit (formerly Indianhead) will vastly improve the skier experience, taking skiers and snowboarders from what was formerly an 8-10 minute ride to a quick 3 minutes!   Along with the new Voyageur Lift, Snowriver has also invested in substantially modernizing its facilities, including all new furnishings, fixtures, and amenities.  Inside the slope-side Lodge at Jackson Creek, the hot tub and pool facilities have been completely overhauled and updated.  The Legacy Restaurant (open daily 7a-10a; 4p-9p} and Dudley’s Tavern {open Fri, Sat, and holidays, 7p – 12a} have been likewise remodeled with new menu choices and room ambiance.
